OpenAI has announced new updates to ChatGPT and GPT-4, and according to Sam Altman, these updates look “like magic”.
The OpenAI CEO previously posted on Twitter on Friday X to talk about the “news” to be announced soon. Although it’s not a search engine or GPT-5, Altman says it’s something “people are going to love.”
OpenAI did not respond to requests for comment prior to publication.
While Altman dismissed rumors that OpenAI would announce a search engine at Monday’s demo, he did not deny that OpenAI is working on a search product.
Reports have circulated recently that OpenAI is working on targeting Google with its own web search product. According to the information, the search product may be powered by Microsoft Bing.
