With the arrival of Prime Day, there’s no better time to pick up fantastic bargains on electronics with a selection of Prime Day deals including those on smaller items such as Prime Day headphone deals. One of the most popular categories in headphones in recent years has been true wireless earbuds, and now you can get in on the action with a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds, which are now their lowest price ever at just $89, down from $130.
If you haven’t tried true wireless earbuds before, you’re in for a treat. Having no wires around your neck means you’re free to move in any way while wearing the buds and you won’t get tangled up in them. So they’re popular for exercising and running, but also for commuters and those looking for small, slim headphones that take up hardly any space in a bag. The Samsung Galaxy Buds were some of the earlier devices to debut in the category and they’ve made a name for themselves, going toe to toe with Apple’s AirPods.
In our review of the Galaxy Buds we were impressed by their solid six-hour battery life, the durable sweatproof design which makes them well suited for working out hard, and their lightweight construction and well-designed fit which make them comfortable to wear for long periods. They come with a compact carrying case which is also a wireless charging station, although the case only has seven hours of charging which is less than some other true wireless earbuds options. But even with this downside, the buds still put on a good show with solid audio performance including a warm bass and a mid response that avoids the hard, tinny trebles that some headphones can suffer from.
The Galaxy Buds are a solid choice even at their original $130 price, but when they’re on sale for just $89 they’re an absolute steal. If you’re looking for true wireless earbuds for working out or for wearing on your commute, these are a great option and you can pick them up during Prime Day for their lowest ever price, so now is the time to act.
