Samsung has started rolling out the next major update for the Galaxy S23 series and other models.
Those whose 2023 Galaxy phones may have had issues since OneUI 6.1 was installed can wait for another system update. Samsung is now rolling out a new 444 MB update (for the S23 Ultra) to the Galaxy S23 series and German users are already receiving the update.
The new software is based on Android 14 with OneUI 6.1 and comes with the brand new May 2024 security patch. So if you have a Samsung cell phone it couldn’t be more up-to-date. Unfortunately, Samsung rarely gives any details;
The rollout started on Friday
“Stability improvements and bug fixes” – it’s always there. But Samsung can improve as there have been a significant number of battery issues reported since the launch of OneUI 6.1. Only device owners will be able to find out if the new update is out.
