The Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center recently debuted its new Fight Child Abuse Campaign to confront forms of abuse, encourage prevention and promote awareness. The effort operates in a partnership with content creators from TikTok and Instagram looking to make a difference.
The $1.5 million nationwide campaign looks to reach children, parents and authorities digitally as parts of society remain socially distanced. The online presence of the anti-abuse material is also best equipped to reach the mix of U.S. children split between attending school or using distance learning during quarantine.
The stated goal of the campaign is to reach children, tweens and teens while they’re online. During the pandemic, their screen time increased, and Fight Child Abuse is ready to aid them while they’re in that online world.
