Sonos accidentally sent one person a truckload of speakers worth thousands of dollars

This may sound like a pleasant surprise when you get more goodies than your original order, but now it has happened with a Sonos customer.

After ordering a Sonos Turntable set, arc soundbar, arc wall mount, a speaker and ROM speaker, a customer says Edge That Sonos sent him six of each product. The man, who asked to remain anonymous, received 30 invoices from the company and flooded his apartment.

A customer who found the speaker’s motherload said Sonos wanted him to cart all the items at a UPS store. The firm later sent a UPS carrier to its building, but the worker did not know he had to take 30 packages and leave with only one.

Now the client claims he is in hot water with his building managers. “They (property managers) are patient but not happy with the boxes in the lobby,” the customer said.

Fortunately, Sonos is no longer sending more speakers. However, dozens of boxes are still sitting outside his apartment and Sonos is apparently taking him to new company representatives every day without any resolution.
