For months now, the PlayStation 5 console has been stable in terms of updates, with minor bug fixes but nothing beyond surprising users who have the device at home. However, it seems that things are changing, as today we received a patch that adds features that were previously only available in beta form.
Added support for devices available through Internet portals Dolby Atmos HDMI such as a sound bar, television or home theater system, which passes its 3D audio functions to the console PS5 on devices Atmos Atmos renders 3D audio channels to speakers. There are also accessibility issues with adding an Assistant control to the same PS account.
Similarly, it is mentioned that PlayStation Remote Play Now supported on running devices Android TV OS 12which currently includes Chromecast con Google TV and models Sony Bravia XR A95. Also added are new voice commands that can be given in the console’s main menu, although this time the option is only for regions. United States and United Kingdom.
It should be noted that there is also an update for the controls dualsense, which makes functions more accessible with adjustable haptic feedback to serve a greater or lesser amount depending on the game. Of course, users kept asking if special themes would be added for the interface, something that apparently only existed on the predecessor console.
Note that you can download this update now.

Editor’s note: While it’s nice to have these updates, there aren’t really any changes that will be beneficial to the average consumer. I’m still waiting for custom themes like the previous consoles and it looks like they’re not going to implement them.
