Hi-Fi Rush One of the best games of 2023. Tango Gameworks’ work was exceptionally well received and Microsoft rewarded the team by closing its studio. Fortunately, Crafton was able to revive the team, and one question is now on everyone’s mind: are they Hi-Fi Rush 2 Will it be a reality? well, Officials have finally spoken on the matter.
In a recent interview with IGN, Tango Gameworks director Colin Mack, creative director and director John Johannes Hi-Fi Rushand Kazuaki Egashira, development director and project manager Hi-Fi RushThey talked about the possibility of seeing Hi-Fi Rush, Especially considering that the studio plans to expand the property by a the future. Johannes commented on this:
“Hi-Fi Rush became popular as a new IP, but if Hi-Fi Rush stays the same forever, it will eventually become obsolete. I think Tango Gameworks is all about taking on new challenges. I hope to continue working in a way that puts developers at the center, without losing our passion.
Not just me, many of the development staff have a strong addiction to Hi-Fi Rush. We not only love the game, but also the characters and the world, so I want to praise this IP.
On the other hand, trying new things is important. I worked on The Evil Within, directed its DLC, and then directed the sequel The Evil Within 2. I don’t think I could have made another horror game at the time, because you can only do so much with the same material. Of course it’s a risk to try something completely different, but I think a sequel to a series is a risk in itself.”
While Johannes’ statement gives fans some hope, at the moment it seems there are no plans for a sequel Hi-Fi RushSomething that can frustrate more than one person. however, The door is open for us to see more content related to this property in the future.
We just have to wait for more information to become available.Something that may take some time. In related matters, Hi-Fi Rush It will still come out in physical format. Likewise, these are the first details of the future of the series.
Author’s Note:
Hi-Fi Rush It’s a great experience, one of Xbox’s best in recent years It’s a shame the way Microsoft has treated the studio, but I hope the future of the series is more than positive.
