It will be done in just a day or two Game Awards. Apart from knowing the Game of the Year title that will be awarded, we will witness endless announcements during the event. While we already know that Tekken 8 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will make an appearance, Event organizer Geoff Quigley has revealed a number of surprises lined up for the night.
Through a Q&A session on Reddit, Keighley confirmed that between 30 and 40 games are planning to release new content., it could be a trailer, gameplay, or release date Along with this, the organizer also revealed that we will see around 50 announcements of all kinds at the event. Here’s what he had to say about it:
“I’m pretty excited. This year feels good. We’ve got thousands of fans back with us, a really strong lineup of announcements and content, and an overall good show. So I’m very excited.
If it all holds up and we can keep up with some surprises, it’s going to be a very fun night! It’s been a long time since I felt so good about a show. I don’t think we’ve had that many CGI trailers. There are a couple that I remember, but generally a lot of playability.
We remind you that The Game Awards will be held on December 8. Relatedly, the release date Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Likewise, fans get angry over games that aren’t nominated.
Editor’s note:
Many people care more about announcements than awards. The Game Awards have become the last big event of the year, and a great way to build excitement for the next one, and it looks like the 2022 edition will be no exception.
