(Pocket-Lint) – Web comics is the natural advancement of the comic strip on the web in digital form. These are incredibly popular and have been uploaded by countless great artists from around the world
Some have been around for almost two decades but new ones are popping up all the time.
We’ve collected some of our favorite web comics with potential laughter samples for you to enjoy.
Shane Comics
Shane Comics is a web comic with a particularly strong sense of humor. It started out as Owl Turd Comix in 2013 and is relatively young, but no less fun than the others on this list.
Created by Shenanigansen, Shen Comix covers a variety of topics in a fun way. You can see his work on CollegeHumor, Naver Webtoon and Daily Dot.
Adam all
Adam Ellis, aka Adamottas is a fun artist to follow if you enjoy seeing Disney characters in a new light or enjoy the fun things about modern life in comic strip format.
The joy of technology
The Joy of Tech is a web comic by Canadian artists Nitrozack and Snaggy (Liza Smallcell and Bruce Evans). It is produced three times a week and focuses on technology-based Japanese, emphasizing the “cult” of Apple products. The pair began making web comics in 1999, so learn a thing or two about the joy of technology.
Nate fake
Didn’t have time to read a complete comic strip? Don’t worry, Nate Fakes has you covered.
This cartoonist creates a single-frame cartoon panel that is always good for laughter.
Saturday morning breakfast serial
Like the Saturday Morning Breakfast Serial (SMBC) XKCD, it has a lot of geeky gags about science, religion, philosophy and more. Zach Weinersmith’s comics are often ridiculous and rarely depressing.
Honey Deal
Honey Deal is a web comic created by Canadian writer / illustrator Ryan Harby. It is a comic that often features new comic ideas as well as awkward and irrational nonsense. You’ll sometimes see a presence of the same characters, but mostly we like how random and perfect it can be.
Formal sweat pants
Formal Sweatpants is a weekly webcomic illustrated by Josh McCach. The art of pants And works for Crazy Magazine. It has adult themes, dark humor and incredible details.
Loading artist
Loading Artist (Gregor Chekowski) is one of our longtime web comic creators with a hard favorite and a dark sense of humor.
These comics have an instantly recognizable styling thanks to the simply designed characters, striking colors, and surprisingly funny storyboard design. Beware of some obscene scenes and obscene language though.
XCD
Randall Munroe created XKCD in 2005, which probably makes it one of the oldest web comics on the web. This is probably one of the geekiest. XKCD is incredibly neutral and is known for a low style and a cutting commentary on modern issues, politics and current affairs.
Cyanide and happiness
Cyanide and Happiness is another classic web comic that has been around for years. It was created in 2005 by Rob Denblacker, Chris Wilson, Dave McLaughlin and Matt Melvin. It has continued to do so ever since, and it has turned out to be a wonderful product, including ridiculous ones YouTube videos too.
As you can see from the name, it is a web comic with dark feelings of humor and equally dark language, temperament and content. Although it is thoroughly enjoyable.
Hey Bob Guy
Hey Bob Guy’s comics mostly revolve around the life of “The Pages”. These are cute, funny and sometimes rude little creatures of his own creation. These chaps can do all sorts of obscenities that make you squirm.
Perry Bible Fellowship
The Perry Bible Fellowship, also known as the PBF, is a web comic that began its life in the Syracuse University newspaper The Daily Orange. It’s an offbeat comic that’s often a huge dose of surreal vibe and deadly humor. Expect sex, violence and insanity with it.
Badly drawn lines
Reza Farazmand is responsible for the poorly drawn lines – a web comic that publishes three times a week and has a funny satirical tone. This includes the regular presence of a variety of animals that are entering all sorts of behaviors or thinking about the problems in their lives.
Penny Arcade
Penny Arcade is probably one of the longest running web comics since 1998. It is illustrated by Jerry Holkins. Mike Krahulik And mostly focus on video games and video game culture.
Ctrl + Alt + Del
Ctrl + Alt + Del is a gaming-related web comic created by Tim Buckley with love. Ctrl + Alt + Del comics, also known as CAD comics, began life on the web in 2002. This comic has funny themes on regular themes, familiar characters and the current state of gaming and new game releases. Gamers love it.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal, along with XKCD, is probably one of the most well-known web comics that has engulfed the Internet. It was created by Matthew Boyd Inman in 2009 and continues to bring Chartles after all these years.
Like the XKCD, it has a comic panel with a humorous view of everyday life, a tongue-in-cheek commentary on modern society, and a personal insight into the Creator’s daily life.
Oatmeal is such a classic among our favorites My dog: Paradox, How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you And How to pet a kitten.
Webcomic name
Alex Norris’s webcomic name has a very simple three frame design that is the perfect digestible comic for today’s fast-paced society. Every comic ends the way of saying, but the meaning is always different and alone it is interesting. It’s fun, colorful and makes us laugh regularly.
Safely endangered
Safely Endangered is a fun web comic created by UK artist Chris McCoy. It’s a simple, but instantly recognizable design style that we like, with a classic dark British sense of humor.
Mr. Lavenstein
The JL Westover genius mind behind the Mr. Lavenstein web comic series. He says he “makes stupid comics for the cold guys” and there’s nothing to deny both parts of that statement. Be sure to follow him and check out his website for lots of laughter.
Moon beard
James Squares is a brilliantly talented and fun painter from New Zealand. He describes himself as a “delusional comic person, coffee drinker and cat owner.”
He has a bright mind behind the web comic Moonbeard. A surreal web comic series often featuring amazing twists, daft humor and inadequate design.
Extra gorgeous comics
Extra Fabulous Comics is directed only by an artist known as Zach. Strips are often deeply ridiculous and with an NSFW theme. If you like the variety in your comics, the extra gorgeous comics will be interesting because Zach uses different styles and posts all sorts from full color posts to snaps to rough sketches and uploads via smartphone.

Sheldon Comics
Dave Kellett is a cartoonist who runs two comics – Sheldon and Drive Sheldon is particularly good because it follows a fictional character (name Sheldon) who leads a fun life with his pet duck Arthur. This comic and bright humor also has a lot of characters.
Garfield minus Garfield
Garfield Minus Garfield is a work by Dan Walsh that removes Garfield from the frame and adds an interesting twist to the already brilliant Jim Davis comic strip.

War and beans
War and Peace is a fun and perfect web comic by German artist Elizabeth Peach and Jonathan Kunz. Lots of adult humor and lots of chortles.
They can talk
Jimmy Craig’s comic The Can Talk gives all kinds of animals a voice with ridiculous consequences. Easy gag and lots of entertaining fun.
Deliberately buried comics
Deliberately buried provides chortles with a variety of topics and short comics. We had a good chortle in this one.

Nathan Olsen
Nathan Olsen is a cartoonist and creator of the Sunday Comics. Nerdy comics with lots of laughter in all castles including monsters, superheroes, aliens and even useless cats. Perfect.
Prime Slim Comics
Prime Slim creates comics with irrationality and black humor. Behind this account, French comic artists try to create irrational and fun webcomics with an amazing ending.
They are often quite dark but very funny.
Anjali Comics
Anjali Srivastava creates funny comics about the daily life of an average relationship. If you find a partner then you are bound to appreciate the humor here. We have certainly found some familiar situations in comics that make us squirm.
