Many users are excited about the next season of the Halo series, which showed us its first trailer last year and is now progressing in production by leaps and bounds and thus presenting a program that is worth watching on streaming. However, there were some scenes that left a bad taste in the mouth of the audience and even the cast of the show is well aware of that.
Recently actor Dr Master Chief, Pablo Schreiber, issued outstanding comments about one of Season 1’s most controversial scenes, insisting that it was a “huge mistake” for the iconic soldier to have sex, as it never actually happened. Factors that justifiably annoy fans of the franchise, insulting the decades-long lore in a certain way.
What happened was this: the series introduced an entirely new character Makey D Charlie Murphy, a man who was abducted by the Covenant at a young age and rose to a position of power in that alien theocracy. Jon and Makey are apparently the only two beings in the galaxy who can interact with the mysterious artifact. This leads us to the two characters having sex in episode 8, after experiencing a shared vision of a halo station in episode 6.
Here is the actor’s statement:
The decision to make the connection between Mackie and John a romantic one was a big mistake.
I felt then that it was a big mistake and I argued and fought against it. But I am that I am. I don’t write scripts. I’m just giving my opinion. I was not heard.
Remember that series hello Available now Paramount+. The second season will arrive later this year.
