Put aside your emergency fund, the 2024 Google cell phones will soon be available for purchase
Google announced a surprise date some time ago and has been “teasing” the new Pixel 9 series with press photos ever since. The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will be unveiled on August 13, and the Pixel Watch 3 and more hardware will be added. The market launch will probably not be too late.
Google will start selling the models from August 14 at the latest start. Then you can pre-order the new Google smartphone. Two months earlier than usual. This is a strategically important time for Google, as it is now well ahead of the annual iPhone hype and will be able to offer its own hardware at a cheaper price by Christmas.
If all goes well, the devices should be delivered to customers in August. Maybe the Pixel 9 Pro Fold won’t make a special exception this time around, but the pricey foldable flagship will still be in customers’ hands in August. We expect all new models to be available here in Germany immediately.
