In fact, we’re already a third of the way into August, but only now is Google distributing the latest version of the Google System Update from July.
Because if you install a new Google system update on the Pixel 6 this week, you won’t get a new date later. This is another July update which is probably still pending. At the time of writing, no August update is yet in sight. Looks like there will be a delay here too.

with me and other people Another minor Google system update arrived in the second week of August. For once, it installed automatically for me. The GPS update arrived a few days ago, which was less than 2MB in size.
It is common for Google system updates to be split into two or even three parts per month. Does the date shown in the settings change? Some say they got four updates for July. You can read about what’s new here.
