Xiaomi is launching another affordable Android smartphone. Now for the Redmi series.
The Redmi 13 is already in Germany, but an additional Redmi 13 5G is also coming Xiaomi has now introduced it in the first country, it is only a matter of time before the market launch here. Not only is the 5G different from the regular Redmi 13, there are other technical differences between the two models.
One difference is the platform used; The Redmi 13 5G uses Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and is therefore not a MediaTek solution. In terms of storage, you can choose between 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB. There is no difference in the display either, the battery remains virtually the same but charges more slowly.
Hard to market: The Redmi 13 5G “only” uses a 50MP image sensor for the main camera, while the Redmi 13 has a 108MP image sensor. There will definitely be visible differences in the photos, but a better camera will only become apparent in comparison. More megapixels are usually not better.
The product image is also interesting, the graphic designer probably looked askance.
