As usual, there are some exciting differences between the Redmi Note series models.
Qualcomm is introducing a new chipset for its high-end mid-range and Xiaomi is right at the beginning. The Redmi Note 13 Pro, which is coming in September, will be brand new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 installed, which is definitely one of the high-quality 7 series chipsets.
It is a modern 4nm chipset clocked at 2.4GHz. It’s not up to the top model of the 7 Series, but should be able to deliver very strong performance for everyday use. It will be interesting to see how the MediaTek Dimensity 7200U compares to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Xiaomi will be presenting its new smartphones very soon and is already releasing more details bit by bit. Apart from the processors, it was also revealed that the Pro devices will enable a 4x “lossless zoom” for 200MP.
