The Pixel 4 series received Android 11, 12, 12L and 13 as updates, but now it’s time to stop. The update guarantee for the two smartphones will end by next week and the light will finally go out on the Android beta program as well.
Google has removed two smartphones from beta, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Although the devices support Android 13 and have received the final update, the upcoming quarterly updates are no longer available. As a result, none of the upcoming Pixel features are dropped.
Google there is So again decided against surprising their own customers and fans. All right. So there are upcoming quarterly platform releases for Android 13 for the Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, 5, 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a and the upcoming 7 series. It starts in December.
There are likely two more monthly updates for the Pixel 4 and 4 XL.
Note: Google has been offering one for quite some time Beta program for Android Turn on. Also, current Pixel smartphone owners can wirelessly and easily download the current test version to their device. Still, one should keep in mind that betas are never bug-free and cannot necessarily be recommended for everyday use.
