In the current ranking of best smartphone batteries, Google can’t keep up with the competition. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro performed equally poorly and eventually moved down the rankings. Chinese OEMs dominate this segment.

89th in DXOMARK’s global ranking For Pixel 7 Pro Not really good. 77th place Pixel 7 is there, which integrated a slightly smaller battery this year. Most of the mentioned disadvantages are not directly related to the battery.

Google is old, especially when it comes to charging technology

With both devices, there are complaints about loading speed. That’s right. Not even 30 watts per wire and wireless charging takes up to four hours, which is not enough for today’s situation.
