Saber Interactive is pleased to announce the next major content update for World War Z: Aftermath, the ultimate cooperative zombie shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film. Coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on December 5, 2023, Valley of the Zeke will introduce the first new premium campaign phase for Aftermath since its launch in 2021. Set in Arizona, the story includes three new maps and four new playable survivors. There will also be new premium character and weapon skins, as well as a free update for all players including new zombie variants, new Desert Eagle weapons and other surprises for Challenge Mode.
Starting December 5th, the “Vale of the Zeke” promo episode will be available for $9.99. It features three new maps that take players to Arizona, setting a new story in the heart of the American Southwest. Play as four new characters and lead a caravan of survivors through the desert and the fallen urban citadels of humanity.
New premium character and weapon skin packs will also be available on December 5th, Valley of the Jake Players can purchase the Pre-Apocalypse Character Skins Pack and the Burning Skulls Weapons Skin Pack for $4.99 each.
Valley of the Zeke will also bring a free update to all World War Z and World War Z: Aftermath owners on December 5, offering even more action-packed gameplay. It includes:
- New zombie types appear in all episodes, including the Juggernaut, a special zombie unit that can deal massive damage as you charge, as well as new military zombies with battle armor for an even bigger challenge.
- The new Desert Eagle Sidearm, a large-caliber pistol that delivers plenty of stopping power when you need it most.
- A new set of exciting mutators for Challenge Mode and Challenge Horde Mode. Equip all automatic turrets with explosive ammo (with reduced lifespan), apply a Wild West theme by forcing everyone to use repeating rifles and revolvers, and more!
- Recently released Rome XL map addition for Challenge Horde mode (only available for Aftermath on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S).
