A new Nintendo Direct took place yesterday, where we previewed the latest games coming this winter. 2023Although that didn’t stop us from knowing the title that would be their debut 2024. Among these declarations it was revealed that Paper Mario is a thousand year door will return in remastered form.
We’ve seen it through a trailer where we can see some features like remastered characters, texture work, widescreen format and a new level of resolution that lets us see even sunlight through windows. This was the trigger to do their technical analysis and now the information is out in the open.
The first thing is that version switch It will run steadily up to 30 FPS, but that’s a bit of a contrast, as the original went to 60 FPS, which would be an issue due to response latency in combat. The resolution will be 900p on the dock and 720p on the laptop. Added lighting changes and button changes to action commands in combat.
It’s worth noting that the analysis is based on the first advance we’ve seen Nintendo Direct and later released independently. This means that some of the details of its development may change during the months it will arrive in 2024, with no firm date yet.

Editor’s note: It’s a little disappointing that it will run at 60fps, but here’s hoping that all changes before launch. Still, it’s a fact that I’ll be playing it as soon as it’s released.
