The year it came out, GTA 5 became an instant hit for Rockstar Games, as many players join the adventures of three misfit characters who eventually manage to join forces for the common good in the mythical city of Los Santos. And indeed, with this brilliance many may feel that it should have had a DLC, although its predecessors had a couple that were quite popular and now new information has emerged that agrees with said information.
Information from the game suggested a package call in 2023 Agent Trevor It was one of three canceled expansions for the game, along with other so-called Zombie apocalypse and alien invasion. Joseph Rubinowho was senior camera artist and virtual cinematographer music star For six years he mentioned on the TV channel YouTube, SunnyPlayWho worked before the Trevor DLC was cancelled.
Here is what is mentioned:
It was my thing. I was a lead editor, camera artist and did a lot of second unit work on set.
Then we split our teams in two, so I stayed on GTA Online and then this DLC, which Steven Ogg was a very important part of, and then overlapped the team part and moved on to Red Dead Redemption 2 in priority.
He later said that because they canceled the content GTA Online, because it brought them more profit than a single payment per exhibition. Here is what he said:
What happened was that when GTA Online came out, it was a cash cow and people loved it so much that it was hard to argue that it would ever be passed on as a standalone DLC.
I think looking back I’d say you could probably do both, but it was a business decision that they made,
Rubino said that the decision to cancel the DLC upset him “a little bit. There was a big reason I was a little bitter at the time, because I thought, ‘What’s the matter, guys, this? This shit is amazing, let’s go, let’s end this shit.
I think a lot of things have appeared in later iterations of GTA Online, so it’s not like they ruined it. It was really good.
Remember that GTA 5 It is available on the current platform as is PS5, Xbox Series X/S y PC.

Author’s Note: An additional adventure with Trevor would have been fun, but ultimately the company needs to generate as much as possible, so it’s also understandable that online is the priority.
