One of the most interesting sections The Last of You Part II Remastered This is the director’s commentary, where Druckman and the rest of the game’s cast talk about the creative process of the title and some of the decisions made during development. This mysterious character will be a father, one of our hero’s victims, so his cycle of revenge will be eternal and unending.
However, as they know, none of this happens, and instead, Ellie returns to her house to find it empty. Although the original ending gave more importance to the idea that we are in a living world, Where everyone has a Joel or Ellie to protect, the conclusion would be quite confusingSo at the end of the day we end up with the ending we already know. The story is The Last of Us Part 2, all that points to Ellie in particular, is a narrative inconsistency with a narrative chaos that ultimately affects the message of “violence is bad.” Allowing Abby to live is a conflict that isn’t explained very well, and it seems that Naughty Dogs let go of the pedal at the last minute to avoid hitting the wall, even if they’ve already caught several people.
