This is Microsoft’s new design for the discless Xbox series

As Microsoft plans to update its Xbox series with a new version, codenamed Brooklyn, an unannounced console update was accidentally revealed. Federal Trade Commission v. Microsoft Document this week.

Confidential internal Microsoft documents for the new Xbox series reveal the company has 2TB of storage (up from 1TB), a front-facing USB-C port with power delivery, and an “all-new, more immersive controller.”

The new controller, codenamed Sabil, is expected to be announced later this year and will include an accelerometer to support the gyroscope. It has a two-tone color scheme and supports direct cloud connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and a rumored updated “Xbox Wireless 2” connection. Microsoft lists “specific haptic feedback” and “dual haptic VCA as speakers” as specifications for the controller. It has quieter buttons and a thumbstick, a rechargeable and replaceable battery, a modular thumbstick, and you can lift it to activate it.

According to Microsoft documents, the power supply performance in the new Xbox series will be reduced by 15 percent. Microsoft is targeting the same launch price of $499 for the Xbox series

Microsoft Lists Roadmap for New Xbox Series Microsoft just launched an updated Xbox Series S in black, but another update could come in 2024 with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 support. It will also include this new Xbox controller.

Microsoft is currently planning to release new updates for the Xbox Series S as well as the Xbox Series X
