NACON and Big Ant Studios announced that “Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA” will soon be available in Early Access on Steam. The tennis game, which is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X in 2024
From the beginning of development, NACON and Big Ant Studios’ stated goal was to create a unique and comprehensive tennis game with tiebreaks. Tennis, as a complex sport, requires detailed implementation to provide players with the most comprehensive and realistic experience possible. To meet this requirement, players should be given the opportunity to actively participate from the start of the new ATP and WTA tennis seasons. This involvement is intended to help further develop and optimize the game before final release.
Big Ant Studios explained the decision to introduce “tiebreak” in Early Access: “We want to get player feedback and use it as the basis for our decisions about what to change. This process is crucial to improving the game before final release.”
The developers also emphasized the authenticity of the game: “We are very happy to say that ‘Tiebreak’ will be one of the most authentic tennis games ever. It will include more stadiums, tournaments, competitions and licensed players than any previous tennis game, not just the ATP and WTA.”
