(Pocket-Lint) – Imagine using TikTok to play games instead of scrolling through videos for hours. According to ReutersThe app is now testing games in Vietnam.
TikTok plans to make a “major push” in mobile gaming, a company executive is now confirming testing of HTML5 mini-games. TikTok has launched so-called ad-supported games that acquire the library of its parent company, ByteDance. TikTok also tested streaming software for games. It offers “Live Studio” for PCs and allows select makers to include mini-apps in videos. TechCrunch It has recently been suggested that TikTok could go deeper into live streaming, helping streamers engage with viewers with new games and experiences. One example is a dictionary-like game and the other is shopping during a livestream.
