EVO took place over the weekend, so multiple companies took this opportunity to share new information about some of the fighting games already available. This was the case Bandai Namco, who confirmed that Heihachi Mishima will finally be available Tekken 8 As a DLC character.
Although no specific release date has been shared for this DLC, it is expected Heihachi Mishima is available Tekken 8 Sometime in the fall of this year. The fighter will be the third additional character for the title’s current season pass, following Eddie Gordo and Lydia Sobieska.

The expansion is named after The Dark Awakens and will focus on the ongoing feud between the Kazama and Mishima families. EVO 2024 was a great event. Although I didn’t get to see all the matches, the Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter III finals were incredible. Not only the matches were impressive, but the winners also had their moments that remain in the memory of this event.
