Over the past few months, AMC has shared little teasers and information The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the sequel to his acclaimed series. Thus, just a month after its premiere, The first trailer for the show has finally been released, showing us several returning characters.
inside The Walking Dead: The Ones Who LiveRick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, and Michonne, played by Danai Gurira, are separated, but they will do anything to reunite. Not only does this mean dealing with a horde of zombies, but a new military force plans to make the task even more difficult.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live It will be a six-part series That would make it six years since Rick went missing after saving the community from a pack of zombies in Season 9, until Michonne left Judith to find her husband, as last seen in The Walking Dead series finale. The official description of this event:
“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is an epic love story of two characters changed by a changing world. separated by distance. For overwhelming power. Who were they for ghosts. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… and ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other in situations like they’ve never known before? Are they enemies? Lover? victim? The winners? Without each other, can they survive, or will they discover that they are too? The Walking Dead?”
With the trailer now available, Now we have to wait till February 25, 2024 for the premiere The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and AMC y AMC+. Relatedly, it will be the most expensive spin-off in the series. Similarly, this show will answer multiple questions about this universe.

While leaving Rick alive at the end, something that doesn’t happen in the comics, was a controversial decision, it seems like AMC is doing everything they can to justify this path. Fans will be more than happy if the new series is successful.
