Helped create Chicory: A Colorful Story, Cuphead, Celeste, Night in the Woods, and Dustforce.
Tunic’s journey began in 2015 with Halifax’s own Andrew Schultz sharing deep experiences of playing weird and obscure video games before the age of the Internet and remembering fan sub-rom hacks. We’re also designing game help content on the PS5 so that you can always start with humility, so that you don’t get lost even if you are completely distracted by some awesome bosses or ancient puzzles.
While Tunic takes big hints from our past and present super-challenging games, it also has a number of options that allow players to customize the challenge of fighting to suit their interests, without actually removing the fun of fighting the fierce devils. Players can opt out of some of the more technical aspects of combat, or even enable a “no fail” mode. Whether
Whether you’re new to the Dodge-Rolling Action RPG genre and still learning the ropes, playing your first true adventure with a young man, tired of long hours at work, or mostly here for incredible puzzles, this game has you covered.
