Delighted to announce it Twisted Minds of the winners PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall On Sunday, October 22nd, the team consisting of Alexander “batulinS” Batulin, Kirill “Lu” Lukyanov, Dmitry “perfect1x” Dubenuk, and Yaroslav “Spiro” Kuvichko took home the $25,000 grand prize from the $100,000 prize pool. The win secured a spot in Twisted Minds PUBG Global Championship 2023 (PGC 2023).
PEC: The Fall Grand Final consists of 18 games played over three days. Twisted Minds and FaZe Clan topped the first day and maintained their lead throughout the weekend. PEC: Fall gave EMEA teams the last chance to secure the PGC points that will determine qualification for PGC 2023. A change in rankings could make the difference between the team traveling to Bangkok for the PGC.
With an impressive performance, FUT Esports managed to climb from 8th to 3rd place on the final day, removing the question mark. Both teams qualified by comfortable margins, as did Ascend Club. The fate of HOWL and Exalt It was uncertain until the last minute, but thanks to the PGC points accumulated at the beginning of the year and the failure of some of their competitors in the final game of the tournament, they made it.
PGC 2023 will be held from 18th November to 3rd December and more than 128 players from 32 global elite teams will compete for the throne of the prestigious championship. PGC 2023 will be held at the Bangkok Convention Center (BCC Hall) in Thailand and will be broadcast live. More information about tickets and on-site community events will be released soon.
