The Twitch platform has been quite controversial in recent months, due to the fact that many of its content creators took advantage of showing nudity to generate curiosity among viewers and thus get them larger donations or paid subscriptions. With many users complaining, they were able to approve such content on the page, although they continued to be presented in a way that did not merit any kind of ban for the person involved, according to the rules.
With that excuse in mind, people started talking about nudity for artistic purposes, which was ultimately the same as continuing to create the same meaning, which the brand focused on, and soon removed it for their fortunes. Wanted a healthy platform. However, they found another loophole in the terms to add implied nudity which does not show private parts but implies they are not clothed, so the rules were changed again.
In a blog post, Twitch Introduced new guidelines on implicit nudity, which now include immediate bans and can range from one day to permanent bans. Anyone who shows skin that the rules are supposed to cover should face “enforcement action,” the text said. Therefore, if transparent or partially worn clothes are worn, or black bars are used to cover private parts, similar penalties may be applied.
Here’s what the statement said:
We do not allow streamers to be fully or partially nude, including exposing genitalia or buttocks. We also do not allow streamers to indicate or suggest complete or partial nudity, including but not limited to covering breasts or genitalia with censorship objects or bars. We do not allow visible outlines of genitalia, even when they are covered. Broadcasting of nude or partially nude minors is always prohibited, regardless of context. For those who present as women, we ask that they cover their nipples and not expose their lower breasts. There are no neckline restrictions as long as these coverage requirements are met and it is clear that the streamer is wearing clothing. For all streamers, be sure to cover the area that extends from the hips to the pelvis and bottom of the buttocks.
This is the third time Twitch Changing the rules would require direct intervention, given that somehow there will be streamers who can find some loophole in the rules to be able to perform nudity. But now everything will be back to normal on the platform. Of course, currents like pool or jacuzzi currents still exist, as long as the person’s private parts are covered with no intentional oversight.

Editor’s note: With this, it can finally be said that nudity is over on Twitch, although skimpy clothing still exists, but at least users must be told that the stream is for users of legal age, which is already positive. This is a platform that is definitely going down.
