Spanish developer Novarama today celebrates the Early Access launch of “UNITED 1944,” an innovative multiplayer first-person shooter set in World War II. Following widespread acclaim in multiple public betas involving thousands of players, UNITED 1944 takes the genre to a new level with its unique blend of shooter, strategy and survival.
The game has two game modes, three large maps, more than 20 weapons and more than 40 abilities. United 1944 is a rich multiplayer first-person shooter that is both addictive and satisfying. Players can dive straight into the fury of World War II’s greatest battles, from the French countryside and North Africa to France’s D-Day, and take part in 16v16 battles in the classic Domination mode! Whether collecting resources, defending outposts, fortifying bases, crafting equipment or simply fighting to the last man standing, there’s plenty to do and the battles are rooted in realistic yet fun gameplay.
In addition to the classic Domination mode, players can also head to the unique, extraction-based Survivor mode, where everyone is an enemy and survival is anything but guaranteed. Find resources, explore cities and build temporary bases as you fight for survival. Build, loot, kill, steal, collect and destroy – everything necessary to survive. Play as long as you want, try to stay standing and run away with as much loot as possible.
