Samsung has made changes to the update list and fixed the bug.
Samsung has a staggered schedule for smartphone updates and this mechanic is now being used again in some models. Instead of delivering a new update every month to affected devices, the latest updates are now only delivered quarterly. Or not?
This time the 20th generation Galaxy phones were affected. This time we mean Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra and S20 FE. These models get quarterly security updates, or so we thought. Samsung is now reversing this change and updating it monthly again.
Samsung surprises with changes in Galaxy update
Because they are already very old, i.e. more than four years on the market, Samsung recently wanted to completely remove other models from the update list. These include the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra. But a different decision has been taken and these devices will also be updated quarterly.
Samsung provides information on this Its own special page. There is a complete list of all Galaxy devices which is updated every month, every quarter or twice a year.
