Vestaboard is exhibiting the old scoreboard-style display of the same name for the first time at IFA in Berlin, expanding its focus on the European market.
It’s reminiscent of retro display boards in airports and train stations: Vestaboard is presenting its smart messaging display at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin. It has been available in the US since 2021 and the company is now launching a A more intense focus on Europe.
Vestaboard’s presence at IFA marks the European premiere of the display, which is being made available to a wider audience for the first time. Hall 5.2, Stand A210, is presented. It combines retro charm and modern technology to display messages. Like Lametric Time, it offers smart display features.
Thanks to technology, users can send and receive messages anywhere. Presentation of messages is interesting here: via patents 132 modular drawing units (“Bits”) from the Vestaboard, which consists of a total of 8,448 keys, the changing of messages creates an iconic sound.
It can be set up and managed using mobile apps for iOS and Android or through a web application. Among other things, the app offers a visual editor, daily motivational suggestions, and the ability to schedule and manage messages.
Another service, Vestaboard+ (paid), gives users access to an expanded library of automated channels to automate and manage content for display. With a proud current price 3.795 euros Vestaboard is probably targeting customers who will buy the iconic Qlocktwo wall clock (sound clock). Deliveries in this country are scheduled to begin in December 2023. European buyers get a 500 euro discount at IFA. It is available in black and white and weighs 20.4 kg without the frame and 24.9 kg with it. IFA 2023 will be held from 1st to 5th September Instead.
