Samsung Over the past few months it has surprisingly managed to build a reputation as a good place for software updates, after years of being criticized for doing so. South Koreans are one step ahead of Google, the Android keeper – and this doesn’t just apply to expensive high-end devices, as you are accustomed to from other manufacturers.
So it should be a little surprising that the next major version, Android 13, is already in the starting block, If only for the current flagships of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which were unveiled earlier this year. As is well known, Samsung has equipped Raw Android with its own, heavily customized interface, the One UI, which goes with Android 13 to version number 5.0.
Android 13: Beta for Galaxy S22 in July
Before One UI 5.0 or Android 13 rolls out for all users, the new software must be thoroughly tested – so a beta release is the order of the day. It was announced a few months ago that it would come out earlier this year. As Sammobile Reportedly, it should be available in the third week of July. Unfortunately, my colleagues do not give the exact date, but if I interpret the information correctly, It should be ready by July 18th.
However, in the case of beta software, extreme caution is always needed! It is never advisable to install it on a device that you have to rely on on a daily basis. Of course, the final version may still have some bugs, but the risk of the smartphone being unused is significantly lower.
