Fire Island

Hulu – 3 June

Directed by Andrew Ahan from a sceneplay by Joel Kim Booster, Fire Island Hall is a strange romance set inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and set in New York’s famous gay party destination Fire Island. A group of friends set off for Fire Island for their annual retreat, but a change of plan leads to conflict and potential new romance. Booster stars with Bowen Young, Conrad Ricamora and Margaret Chow in one of the most exciting summer streaming movies to look forward to.

Netflix – June 10

Faniman Adam Sandler now has a long history with Netflix. Although its output has been somewhat hit or missed, Hustle looks like a tough new role for SNL Alum produced by LeBron James. His career and reputation are at stake when his unfortunate basketball scout brings home a promising young player without the approval of his team.

Half time

Netflix – June 14

Jennifer Lopez is a phenomenon of pop culture for decades, although she has faced a lot of reactions, regarded as a flash in the pan, a one-hit-surprise and simply a beautiful face. This new Netflix original documentary gives an intimate glimpse into the artist’s life, celebrating his talent and work ethic, as well as addressing the toll that tabloid titles can take.

The father of the bride

HBO Max – 16 June

A remake of the 1950 and 1991 films of the same name, Father of the Bride, shows a man fighting for his only daughter’s upcoming marriage. Since she handles her own marital problems and other relationships, she has to find a way to stay there for her beloved daughter. HBO Max’s Father of the Bride stars Andy Garcia, Gloria Estefan, Adria Arzona, Diego Boneta and Chloe Feynman.

Hulu – 17 June

A Hulu original summer streaming movie is set to roll out in the United States at Leo Grande, a crowd-pleasing, British sex comedy Good Luck to You at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. A retired widow hires an attractive young sex worker who wants to spice up her life, learning about herself in the process.

Tea tea is really smooth

Apple TV Plus – June 17

Receiving much critical acclaim when premiering at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, Tea Real Smooth is now heading to Apple TV Plus as a summer streaming movie. Writer and director Cooper Rifle plays a man who hosts the bar Mitzvass. At a party, he meets a mother and befriends her and her autistic daughter.

Spiderhead

Netflix – June 17

In this original Netflix film starring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Taylor and Journey Smollett, two inmates form a bond and resist their captors. In the near future, a luxurious, sophisticated Pentecostal will allow prisoners to reduce their sentences. The idea is that they have to participate in experimental research using mind-altering drugs, under the supervision of a strange genius.

Paramount Plus – June 17

Starring Brian Cranston and Annette Benning in this summer’s Paramount Plus streaming movie. Comedy is based on a halfpost article. It tells the story of Jerry and Marge Selby, who took advantage of a mathematical error to win the Massachusetts Lottery. With their new assets, they set out to revive their Michigan city.

Emergence

Disney Plus – June 24

Disney’s biographical sports drama Rise is based on the true story of three young Nigerian-Greek brothers who moved to the United States as basketball stars in the NBA. The film traces their origins in Athens and their journey with their parents’ struggle to support their families and avoid exile.

Persuasion

Netflix – 15 July

Based on Jane Austen’s novel, Persuasion is a Netflix original film. It stars Dakota Johnson, Henry Golding, Cosmo Jarvis, Sookie Waterhouse, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Richard E. Grant and Nicky Amuka-Bird. Published after Austen’s death, Persuasion tells the story of an English woman who encounters a man in her past, setting the stage for a second chance at love.

Gray Man

Netflix – July 22

From the Russo brothers, the director of Avengers: Endgame, this A-list action movie is being released exclusively on Netflix as a summer streaming movie. A skilled CIA tenant becomes liable when he learns agency secrecy. Now, he must avoid the most deadly killers in the world. The Gray Man stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Anna de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Reggie-Jean Page, Alfred Woodard and Billy Bob Thornton.

Apple TV Plus – August 5th

Sam Greenfield is the most unfortunate person to have survived. But when he learns about Land of Luck, he gets a chance to turn the tide, where he will work with magical creatures to change his destiny. This captivating animated family film features the voices of Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Hopi Goldberg, Fulula Borg, Jane Fonda and many more.

Fans of the Predator franchise will be thrilled to learn that there is a new entry. And it’s one of the most beautiful-looking movies of the upcoming summer. A prequel to the previous four Predator films and two Alien vs. Predator films, pre-1719. In it, a skilled Komanche warrior named Naru saves his tribe from a known alien predator, in order to hunt down humans on Earth.
