Xiaomi wants to make a name for itself among OEMs with the best smartphone cameras

Xiaomi has repeatedly advertised good cameras in recent years, but apart from the main camera, the gap was sometimes too big. Especially on devices like the T-series, 2 MP macro cameras are sometimes built for more than 500 euros, but this should end eventually.

We should be able to look at the upcoming Xiaomi 13T or 13T Pro, as the cameras have been significantly upgraded on the hardware side. Insiders promise a new 50MP Sony image sensor for the main camera, another 50MP image sensor for zoom, and a new 13MP ultra wide-angle camera.

Don’t forget the leak from a few months ago, where a collaboration with Leica was announced. Xiaomi may also bring Leica to the category of cheap devices, which we have already critically observed a few weeks ago.
