Xiaomi is already rolling out massive new software shortly before the start of the year.
The new HyperOS wasn’t actually supposed to be delivered until next year, but the new software will arrive on the first Xiaomi devices in 2023. Now it appears that the rollout of the MIUI successor is progressing quite well. Xiaomi is offering more and more of its own Android smartphones.
The new HyperOS has some immediately visible innovations on board, but is fundamentally more important for the entire Xiaomi ecosystem. You can read more about it here, for example. now distributes Xiaomi is rolling out the new software to the 13T, which was launched just a few weeks ago.
HyperOS 1.0 for the 13T is based on the new Android 14, so the current mid-range flagships are equipped with the latest software currently available in the Xiaomi universe. I think the 13T Pro is already shipping, although it’s on the list of devices announced for the first quarter of 2024 update.
