The last big film was released a few days ago. Zack Snyder, rebel moon, which was not well received by critics nor by the director’s fans, and this is because the work has some abrupt cuts that suggest it was originally going to be more complicated. After the comment, the director made a comment that raised the eyebrows of those interested in a better product.
As commented by Snyder in a new interview, there is one director’s cut This film, which makes a sudden change in what we are told and how they do it, will change the way of thinking of those who were harshly critical of the subject at the time. Add to that the fact that it will essentially be a completely different film and it recreates the effect of Justice League Returns, as the theatrical version was not liked but the director’s version released on streaming was praised.
Here are some comments:
This is not the ‘extended version’ of this film. It’s almost like a different movie. It’s almost a different universe that the R-rated version inhabits than this movie.
The reason is that it is very philosophical to shoot the director’s version of a movie before finishing this version. All of my director’s cuts exist in response to things that I needed to take from the theatrical version, right? With Rebel Moon, that claim was never made. We knew it would be a PG-13 movie. In my heart, I always wanted it to be rated R, but you realize the scale and cost of a movie and you say, ‘Well, having that demand isn’t 100% responsible.
Here is the summary:
When a colony at the edge of the galaxy is threatened by the army of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, a young woman with a mysterious past is sent to find warriors from a neighboring planet to help them stand.
For the release of this director’s cut, no date has been mentioned yet. Note that conventional versions are available Netflix.
Editor’s note: I haven’t seen the commercial version of this movie, but now that Snyder has said the director’s cut, it might be best to wait for it to come out so it doesn’t bother me one bit. Let’s hope it doesn’t take a year to arrive, but months later.
