Gemini’s launch continues this week and is available in additional countries (in English) and on iOS
In terms of availability, the Gemini app is now fully available in English in the US, and the Google Play Store release notes as well: “The full app is now available in English in the US, and we’ve updated the voice output.” Commands that include automatic dispatch. No need to hit the send button anymore.”

A trick users have found Sideload Gemini/APKBut we should now look at international availability via Play Store. Google has not yet offered Japanese or Korean support for Gemini, but that will come later.
Meanwhile, on Android, Google Assistant has started introducing login prompts at the top of the panel. (You can see an earlier design with the old branding below.) The team continues to work on making more Assistant features available through Gemini.
iOS availability initially lagged behind Android, but it should have caught up by now. it’s part Google Apps For iPhone users (iOS 16+), which is more interesting when you zoom out.
It makes sense to take advantage of the popular search app — which already integrates the Discover and Widget browser experiences — to bring Gemini to Apple users. However, Gemini is in no way associated with SGE.
