When we published our review of DJI’s Sub-250g Mini 3 Pro drone on May 10, some readers mentioned that there was no mention of 10-bit color in the video profile. In fact, it was not yet available. One week later, on May 17, DJI quietly announced a new firmware update but failed to mention that users can now record 10-bit color video on a D-Cinelaic video profile. Now it is possible.
The ability to shoot 10-bit color allows videographers to get more detail in their imagery and better match post-process clips with footage captured on a similar camera. Color grading is much easier because banding, which is more common with 8-bit recording, is a lesser side effect in post-processing.

With the latest DJI Fly app update, the RC-N1 remote controller is compatible with Air 2S, Mavic 3, Mini 2, and Mavic Air 2 drones. Tripod mode is not yet available on the Mini 3 Pro.
