Ricoh’s GT-2 tele conversion lens A 1.5X converter attached to the front of the Ricoh GR IIIx (when used with it) GA-2 lens adapter), The equivalent focal length of the camera is being increased from 40mm to 60mm.
But there is a catch. When paired, the GR IIIx uses in-camera cropping to output a 15MP image, compared to 24MP when using a full sensor, regardless of whether you’re shooting Raw or JPEG. This results in an effective focal length of 75 mm. It is worth noting that the adapter / converter combination makes the camera quite large – and less pocketable – when attached.
Ricoh’s GT-2 tele conversion lens is a 1.5X converter for the Ricoh GR IIIx. Take note: Digital crop also adds when using the camera. |
