One of the controversies that arose in the film world a few months ago Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a project that would give the world a twist of terror as we know it from the wonderful adventures of Yellow Bear. This is mainly because the franchise has gone into the public domain, which is why anyone can use it.
During the interview with Dr diversityfilm director, Rice Frack-Waterfield, talked about the plot of the upcoming horror adaptation. This is a feature Pooh y the pig “As the main villain… going on a rampage later Christopher Robin LLets you go to university, it should be clear that they are characters with human faces.
Here are the director’s comments:
Christopher Robin has been taken away from them, and he has not given them food, making life very difficult for Pooh and Piglet. Because they had to fend for themselves so much, they basically went wild. So, they returned to their animal roots. They are no longer domesticated: they are like a vicious bear and pig that want to run around and try to find prey.
When you’re trying to make a movie like this, and it’s a really crazy idea, it’s very easy to go down a path where nothing is scary and it’s really funny and really stupid. And we wanted to go between the two.
The director revealed other characters viz TigerThey cannot be seen in the picture. This is about copyright: TigerIn others, still protected. Eeyore Could be in the movie, but it turns out we’ll only see Donkey’s tombstone, as his former friends eat him, an event that shows the wild nature of the characters.
Also, they assure that there will be no match with its production DisneySince some features are property of the company:
We tried to be very careful. We knew there was a line between that and what their copyright was and what they did. So we did everything we could to make sure the movie was based only on the 1926 version. So Pooh wears a lumberjack outfit while Piglet wears black.
