A week ago we informed you about the users who were experiencing battery issues on their Pixel 6 phones after switching to Android 13. But that’s not the only concern some Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners are reporting.
“My Pixel 6 Pro is slow to respond when opening apps”, wrote the creator of the thread on Reddit. Within a few hours, a few people were added overnight who unfortunately had to attend these experiences. “I faced the same problemAdds one, who gets upvotes for it from other users.
“Sometimes I open a random app and it takes forever” Then his Pixel phone is so slow that he has to restart it completely. “Same experience here, with worse battery life and slowdowns,” Another user adds.
This is how it goes almost exclusively in the comments below the thread. But there are people who have no problem. I personally belong to it. The question, of course, is whether there are solutions to the problems themselves.
On the one hand, one can hope for September 5th, as a September security patch will be released in the evening and we expect a few bug fixes. This is the first minor update after the release of Android 13 and hence should bring improvements.
Another option, which unfortunately involves a bit more work, is probably a factory reset. I just noticed that nothing with phone 1. An inexplicable error simply disappeared after a full reset.
A reset and a fresh install of Android 13 might help Flash-Tool via Google. But I don’t think it’s necessary. However, you can play it safe with it.
