Discontent seems to be spreading in the OnePlus community, as OnePlus Nord 2 owners are complaining about the lack of updates. A significant number of users of cheap Android phones seem to have received a new update last May.
OnePlus seems to be aiming for a rather slow update rollout for its mid-range devices. Some wrote that they only received updates from June in September. There is probably no answer to the question of when the missing updates will finally arrive.
Was recently on the OnePlus forum a surveyNord 2 owners have received any updates since the May update. 73 percent said it was almost Four months no new update gave more
“It’s been four months now since May and I haven’t had an update.”
“Worst software experience ever….”
And you are sure to find some dissatisfied customers. After seeing what people say written there isThe problem is not actually the initial availability of the update, but the distribution to customers’ devices.
For example, users can no longer keep track of current status Get the official website. The “Downloads and Updates” area has not been maintained for some time, and the OnePlus 10 Pro is not available there either. The last mentioned update for OnePlus 9 Pro is from January 2022.
According to the forum, the last update (OxygenOS 12 C.08) for the said Nord 2 model was in August. Whether it will reach users on a large scale is doubtful.
To make matters worse, OnePlus is no longer allowed to sell its cell phones in Germany due to the successful lawsuit. In my opinion, the once celebrated Hype brand is in worse shape than ever.
