The time has finally come: the new AMD Ryzen 7000 processors go on sale today. After the official announcement in August and the first test reports earlier in the week, the Ryzen 9 7950X & Co. Can now be ordered from the first retailers. We give you a brief overview of where you can buy CPUs.
With the AMD Ryzen 7000 you can expect the latest CPU generation based on it Fresh Gen 4 architecture. The processors are manufactured by TSMC with a 5nm structure size and should offer a decent performance leap over the predecessors. With AM5, however, a new socket is required, which is now based on the LGA format – the pins are no longer on the bottom of the CPU, but in the socket itself.
