Standard with Ads – $6.99 per month
The cheaper standard plan with ads has been in demand for years, and Netflix finally released it in the US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain, and the UK on November 3, 2022.
Standard with ads costs $6.99 per month and is an ad-supported plan that includes “all but some movies and TV shows” and unlimited mobile games like Oxenfree and Spiritfarer. It allows customers to view in pairs of supported devices Simultaneously, which means you can watch two different shows (or the same show!) on two different devices, which is especially useful if you’re with other people.
Subscribers to this plan can stream their content in 1080p (Full HD), which is a step up from the 720p (HD) offered in the Basic plan.
Basic – $9.99 per month
The Basic plan is worse than the Standard plan with ads in some ways and better in some ways It’s a bit more expensive at $9.99 per month but gives you the option to download shows and movies to one device at a time. Additionally, there are no restrictions on the content you can watch and you have ad-free access to the entire Netflix library.
Unfortunately, there are some trade-offs, including that you can only watch Netflix on one device at a time, and the stream you get on that device can only reach 720p (HD) resolution.
Standard – $15.49 per month
The Standard plan is Netflix’s most popular as it offers the best options for those who live in multi-person households and want to watch their content in high definition.
While the price is significantly higher than the basic plan at $5.50 per month, it offers some notable upgrades that are worth checking out. First, it has ad-free access to all Netflix content, and standard plan subscribers can stream that content in up to 1080p (Full HD). Sure, it’s not the 4K resolution offered on top plans, but 1080p is good enough for many people who don’t necessarily care about the technology behind the stream and just want content that looks good, which 1080p does. !
The Standard plan allows customers to watch Netflix on two devices at the same time and download content on those two devices at the same time. This tier allows you to add a single member who lives away from home and costs $7.99 per month This is a good option as Netflix is now cracking down on account sharing. This is very useful, especially if you have family members or friends who don’t live with you who support you, or if you want to give them Netflix as a gift.
It’s also important to remember that members you invite from home use their own Netflix accounts and passwords. All you need to do is to allow them to use it.
Premium – $19.99 per month
The Premium plan is Netflix’s most expensive tier and offers the best features a streaming device has to offer Not only does this give customers access to the entire Netflix library, but they can watch content up to 4K (Ultra HD), ideal for those with the latest and greatest television.
The premium plan allows up to four devices to watch Netflix at once, which is useful for those living with a large family or group of friends. It also has the advantage of allowing you to download Netflix content on up to six devices at the same time, meaning four people can watch Netflix at the same time and two others can watch the downloaded content without anyone getting bugged or fired.
The other biggest selling point of the premium plan is spatial audio netflix, Which, according to Netflix, “improves audio without the need for surround speakers or home theater equipment.” Think of spatial audio as a type of 3D audio that displays it in a more precise location rather than the left or right stereo channel.
Finally, you have the option to add two additional non-resident members for $7.99 per user per month.
