Sometimes it is not always obvious and predictable. Not so clear.
An example? Conduct a survey that challenges your opinion.
An Occupy Democrat writer recently conducted a tweet poll to find out if Elon Musk is more loyal than Republican Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
The survey included a comment that said: “Let’s prove to ourselves one by one how ridiculous the ridiculous poll of rights is” with the idea that the results would be clear. Here are the polls:
However, the results were quite startling.
Elon Musk won more than 81%, AOC only 19%. Some comments have revealed a lot, such as how many Twitter users mentioned how wrong voting was or how favorable Elon Musk’s followers were.
The vote became somewhat predictable when Elon Musk commented. (The original poster called Elon Musk an interesting parody.
This poll, which can be found on Twitter or anywhere else, is getting a little tedious. I’ve seen them more on LinkedIn, and it always makes me wonder how legitimate they are because you don’t really know how anyone finds a poll or who votes.
I suspect that Musk’s followers actually jumped on it, due to the fact that he has a lot of hardcore fans and probably not even AOC fans.
And then there’s another possibility.
Also, I suspect that those who respond to the Twitter poll are more technology-driven and innovative, and so they will find entrepreneurs trusted. Especially if they help build a number of companies or seem to attract a lot of accolades. AOC has a huge fan base, but he has not been able to make a mark in technology. This is probably the opposite, as he downplays and criticizes Big Tech.
While most of these selections are supposed to be enjoyable, what was posted here has taken an unfortunate turn. The original poster even admitted that it was “a loss” and decided to put up a poll on his feed
There were a maximum of 375,000 responses which is quite a large sample. I’ve seen Twitter and LinkedIn polls with just a few hundred responses, which makes you wonder if they were mostly friends of the person conducting the poll.
Selecting a passing fad? This is what I think. The first thing I think of when I look at the results is the person who determined the wording of the questions, as well as those who took part. Results valid?
This survey proves the popularity of Elon Musk, I believe.
