AMD Ryzen 7000 deals are here
Newegg leads Black Friday week in US sales by offering new prices for Ryzen 7000 desktop CPUs.
So far, other major US retailers (such as Best Buy or Amazon) have not followed Newegg by lowering the price of Ryzen AM5 CPUs. However, Microcenter still offers a free 32GB DDR5 memory kit with all Ryzen 7000 purchases, and while this may still be a good deal, this offer is for in-store pickup only.
The Newegg price is a significant discount from the original RRP. The 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X is now 17% cheaper at $573.99, while the 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X is $473.99 instead of $549. Gamers may be interested in the 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X’s new price of $348.99, a $51 discount or 12% less. The new entry-level price for the AM5 platform is $248.99 with the 6-core Ryzen 7 7600, which is a 16% discount.
All four processors were released less than two months ago, but this does not appear to be an official and permanent price drop from AMD. Among these, however, a similar decline in prices can be observed to European retailersThe top model is now priced as low as 200 euros.
