Canon has released firmware update 1.1.1 for both the EOS R6 and R5. Version 1.1.1 pertains more to the R6 than the R5.
These firmware updates are only currently available on the Canon japan site, but I would expect them to become available on other Canon worldwide sites soon.
For the R6, this new firmware allows you to set the [Overheat control: On] when choosing to display an image via the HDMI output while also displaying an image on the camera screen. Temperature detection and shooting time limits when video shooting has been improved. In addition, the total shooting time when the short-time recording and power-on/off are performed repeatedly at room temperature has also been improved.
These improvements are basocally the same additions that canon added to the R5 in firmware version 1.1.0.
