Canon has announced the EOS R7, a 32.5MP APS-C mirrorless camera for its RF mount. It is being launched along with a sister EOS R10 camera and a pair of kit lenses: Canon RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18–150mm F3.5–6.3 IS STM.
The core of the EOS R7 features an updated 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor with dual pixel AF and sensor-shift image stabilization (CIPA-rated for up to seven stops). For stills, the camera can capture up to 15 frames per second (fps) with its mechanical shutter and 30fps per electronic shutter. For video, it can record oversamped UHD 4K video up to 30p or up to 60p with the option of using full-width (but line-avoiding) or 1.81x cropped area. There is also an option to capture 10-bit video, either for post-shoot grading in C-Log 3 or in HDR PQ, for real HDR playback on a compatible display.

The R7’s autofocus system has improved significantly compared to its spiritual predecessors, with some inspiration from the AF system found in Canon’s full-frame EOS R3 camera. Specifically, the EOS R7 offers subject detection modes, including animal, human and vehicle tracking. You can now set Face and Tracking Focus mode together with any AF area or zone mode, instead of being a separate setting, and three customizable AF zones will allow you to create presets based on your specific needs.
The 2.36M-dot OLED viewfinder or 1.62M-dot (900 x 600 pixels) on the back of the camera can be used to compose and review shots on a fully-standard 3 “touchscreen. Other features include a dual UHS-II SD card slot, environmental ceiling and a USB -A port, a collection of ports including a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3.5mm microphone jack and a micro HDMI port.
The EOS R7 uses the same LP-E6NH battery shared by Canon’s EOS R5 and R6 cameras, which offers up to 770 shots per charge via LCD in power saving mode (660 on polishing preference). EVF figures are 500 and 380 charges per shot, respectively (CIPA-rated).
The EOS R7 will be available for only তাল 1499 body list price or $ 1899 with new 18-150mm F3.5–6.3 IS STM zoom lens.
