There are weaknesses, of course, but the current nothing gadgets are very good devices.
Right now I use Ear (2) from Nothing in my daily life and added Phone (2) a few weeks ago. After a lot of day-to-day experience, I can say a small conclusion about the current gadgets. Anyone who may have missed OnePlus after its withdrawal from Germany will be offered an equally great replacement.
The beginning of Nothing is different than the OnePlus of that time. Start-ups tend to be more assertive and don’t want to be cheaper than others at any cost. Instead, the entry is bolder, Nothing’s first premium smartphone is only the manufacturer’s second model and yet it costs more than 600 euros.
But after a few weeks you will notice that it can justify this price in many ways. I’ve been using the phone (2) for a few weeks now and have come from a Galaxy S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro, I’ve also tested a Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Asus Zenfone 10 has been with me for a few days. But what device I enjoy using every day: The Nothing Phone (2).
It works so well in everyday life that I enjoy using it. The only catch is the camera, which doesn’t really deliver properly, especially in low light. But somehow I don’t care right now. Although my wife’s criticism is sharp: “Your cell phone pictures look bad”, she is actually used to photos from Pixel devices.
Everlasting long battery life, functional software and extremely powerful performance, which is still a lot of fun in everyday life. I use the in-ears (2) mentioned at the beginning almost every day, not just in bed, because I simply find the Pixel Buds Pro more comfortable. During training and on the go, however, it’s the Kan (2) that I currently use.

I can say for both products that I enjoy using them and nothing is already equal with manufacturers who have been making smartphones and headphones for a long time. So if you’re wondering if Nothing’s gadgets are worth the money, I can answer that with a resounding yes. They look extremely cool.
