Absolute Software Absolute Application has announced new partnerships with leading independent software vendors (ISVs) to strengthen the resilience of their endpoint applications with Persistence-A-Service (APaaS).
As APaaS partners, Ericom, Utopic, and WinMagic are using Absolute’s firmware-embedded technology to monitor and automate their mission-critical security solutions – so that they work seamlessly, install, and efficiently across their customer base.
Through APaaS, ISVs have the ability to embed Absolute Application Persistence capabilities directly into their software packages so that the integrity of their endpoint applications has low development costs and no running code maintenance. APaaS partners have access to rich application health telemetry data that provides valuable insights into the health and performance of applications, allowing for continuous optimization and improvement.
“As a partner of APaaS, Ericom, Utopic, and WinMagic have taken significant steps to make their mission-critical applications rigorous and self-healing at the firmware level,” said Edward Choi, SVP of Global Alliance of Absolute Software. “Our unique device intelligence consistently demonstrates that the complexity of today’s endpoint environment puts endpoint agents in constant danger of decay, collision with other applications or being disabled by malicious or neglected users. By ensuring that their endpoint agents stay healthy and function effectively, these leading ISVs are delivering higher returns on software investments and strengthening the security position for their end customers. “
“Strengthening our ZTEdge platform has been a top priority for Ericom, and with Absolute, we’ve found the right partnership to move our vision forward,” said Ericom CPO John Peterson. “Adding Absolute’s removable firmware-based self-healing to our mission-critical endpoint application gives us confidence that we are committed to enabling our customers to strengthen their security defenses in today’s seamless digital environment.”
“Our clients rely on our leading self-healing automation capabilities to implement policies as part of their NIST cybersecurity response and recovery journey, to ensure compliance issues, improve resource efficiency and reduce operational support costs,” said Bob Whirley, CEO of Utopic. “By partnering with Abaolute to tighten our endpoint agents with APaaS, we are more confident that we are able to transform and modernize non-stop in the workplace.”
Thi Nguyen-Hou, CEO of Winmagic, said: “Some of the world’s largest organizations rely on SecureDoc every day to protect their sensitive data from being mishandled. “To complement our encryption offer, we are thrilled to be adding authentication to our comprehensive security product suite with MagicEndpoint. Ability to take advantage of the firmware-embedded, self-healing capabilities of Absolute in our leading authentication and encryption suite through APaaS further assures us that we are committed to delivering security solutions that allow our customers to think, share and achieve their goals. Free to achieve. , Knowing that their employees and data are secure. “
